FAQs

1.

What are the fees per session?

Individual therapy sessions are £120 per 50 minute clinical hour.

Couple therapy sessions are £170 per 50 minute clinical hour and £220 for 90 minutes.

2.

How many sessions will I need?

This really depends on what your goals for therapy are and how you choose to use your sessions. If you want to work in a time-limited way due to a particular budget, I am trained to offer this as well as longer-term and open-ended forms of therapy. I usually recommend a minimum of 10 sessions with a review at the end to consider extending or ending.

3.

What should I expect from a first session?

After making contact or after an initial 15 minute introductory call, if you wish to proceed to therapy, I will send you some documents to sign including a Therapy Contract. This document lays out the commitment of both sides to attend sessions on time, at an agreed time, frequency and location and details of the cancellation policy, payment methods as a well as an agreement of confidentiality. Once signed by both therapist and client, the first session can be scheduled. This time, day and location usually becomes a regularly occurring slot. The first session forms part of an initial assessment where I get to learn about your presenting problem, your goals for therapy, about your background and current life, assess risk and understand your sources of support. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have about the process of therapy.

4.

Do you accept health insurance?

Yes. I am recognised by AXA, Aviva, Vitality Health & WPA. You will need an authorisation code from your insurer before we can begin sessions.
